Video analysis

Climber tracking, editing and exporting all happen on your iPhone, using its own chip. Your videos are never uploaded, to us or to any AI service.

Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, ClimberKit reads heart rate, sleep, weight and VO₂ max to show them next to your climbs. That data stays on your device. It is never uploaded or synced.

No account, analytics or tracking

ClimberKit doesn't have accounts. There's nothing to sign up for, and we never ask for your name or email address.

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code. It doesn't send us usage data, doesn't use your device's advertising identifier, and doesn't share anything with data brokers or advertisers. We don't know which features you use, what you log or how often you open the app.

If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may send us crash reports and aggregate figures such as install counts. That's Apple's setting, not ours, and you can turn it off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We see whether a subscription is active, not your payment details.

Feedback

If you email us from the app, the message includes your app version, iOS version and device model so we can reproduce problems. We only see what you choose to send.

This website

climberkit.app has no analytics or advertising trackers.

If you sign up for updates, your name and email address are stored with our email provider, Kit, so we can send you news about ClimberKit. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you use the feedback form on the support page, what you submit is stored in a private Google Sheet that only we can read.
